surface where the carpet is being laid should be clean
and even to avoid undue wear. Underlay can be used on
uneven floors. |

Ensure
that the carpet used in one area should belong same production
batch. |

The
soilage of the carpet would determine the cleaning procedure.
Vacuum cleaning is recommended. Brushing can be done in
case of non availability of vacuum cleaner. |

Stain
should be attended immediately, before it penetrates and
dries up. |

Absorbent
cloth can be used for spilt liquids. Use blunt Knife or
even spoon can be used for cleaning of semi-solids and
greasy substances. |
